Ketones?

Question

So i had a Nst did a pee test today. No follow up with my dr until Tuesday. I asked the nurse about the pee test because my BP has been elevated she said all was good except there was a small amount of ketones in my urine. I know they are not necessarily a good thing. Anyone got info they'd like to share, issues? Inductions? Nothing?

They dont really mean anything. I had ketones in my urine one day because i didnt eat enough and my body started burning body fat for energy. Three days later my ketones were back negative

Thanks all i just worry having gestational diabetes it could be a sign of it being out of control since or something else. I have been struggling a bit with it.... 5 more weeks to go!

I had ketones in mine when I was dehydrated and not eating enough (baby was pushing right on my stomach). He turned, so I can eat more now and it seems to have resolved.

I've had ketones when I was admitted to the hospital for high bp and they said it was because I was dehydrated. Just make sure you're eating and drinking enough water.

I only have ketones when I don't have anything to eat before my appt, my appts are normally early and I'm not the best morning eater so she said even if I just have a little biscuit and a drink before I go the ketones shouldn't show xx
