I'm 32 weeks 
I'm 8 months right?

I started counting backwards from my due date and it seems to make sense. I'm due Jan 16 and I'm 28 weeks +1 day pregnant or 7 months pregnant.

No, you won't be 8 months until exactly 8 months to the day from your last period. Months are longer than 4 weeks so you are not actually 8 months yet. (Only month that is 4 weeks is February with 28 days). Example: my last period was July 28. I will be 3 months pregnant on October 28. However, I am already 12 weeks 5 days pregnant today. Your due date should be 9 months and 1 week after your last period (so mine is April 28 + 7 days = due date of May 4).
