He's here! My 3rd little boy was born this morning at 8:34am. I woke with contractions at 4:00 am that were pretty regular, about 3:30 minutes apart. I got to the hospital at 4:30 am and was dilated to 4 cm. After about an hour I got my epidural and the Dr broke my water. From there things went quickly. I went from a 4-5 to a 7 before she even took her hand out from breaking my water! The epidural kept me comfortable until it was time to push. He was looking sideways so it took awhile for him to come under the pubic bone. Then when his head came out he had his arm with it so she had to deliver his head, one arm and one shoulder all at once. Not gonna lie, it was intense! All worth it though! He was 7lbs 9oz & 21 1/4 inches long. My first baby that went to term (37 +6) My first baby not to need the NICU. First time I got to do skin to skin and keep him in the room with me.
