Weight gain for VBAC?

Is there a certain amount your doctor is allowing you to gain?
My doctor told me 10lbs that's just impossible I feel like. I've gained 30lbs so far. All in my belly.

I had a successful VBAC...My doctor never once mentioned my weight gain. I gained 30 pounds. I was overweight before becoming pregnant.

I'm pursuing a vbac as well, and my doc never mentioned weight either! Either way weight has nothing to do with having a vbac, and if they say u need a csection bc of weight gain, no no no, only medically they can do a csection! Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do a vbac it is always possible, as long as you dont have any health issues or something happens when your in labor like baby is breech and etc!

I would not give up on your VBAC and I would not let your doctor tell you that you need a c section because of weight gain. I don't know how weight gain would medically require a c section unless there is something underlying like high blood pressure or diabetes.

That's odd.. My doc told me I could try for a natural delivery and mentioned nothing about my weight..
