Breastfeeding

Our AJ is 11 days old, and since birth could only latch if there was two sets of hands helping, which obviously isn't an effective way feed.... so I have been pumping and feeding, and also supplementing with formula. However it has been so discouraging to have so many people say "too bad he can't latch, just keep trying" or "that stinks you have to use formula" why does it matter how my baby is getting food, or what kind of food as long as he is fed? I literally may snap at the next person who makes these comments. I would never say those things to a new mom. Just needed to let that off my chest!
