Can you get a positive OPK but not ovulate?

I'm thinking this could possibly be what is happening to me. TTC for 12 months today. Always use OPKs and get positives on CD19-21. Husband has been given the all clear and has strong sperm. Is it possible to have an LH surge and not ovulate?

You can have an lh surge all the way up to you actually ovulate yes!! But now if theres like no line barely nothing then your not ovulating so i would say perhaps your missing ovulation? I thought i ovulated on the cd 15 and on cd 20 i started cramping in my right side i took another opk and was still strongly positive
