4 month old refusing breast?
Two nights this week (non-consecutive) my 4 month old son has refused to nurse to sleep. I've tried switching positions, etc. But he just gets madder and madder until my husband steps in and gives him a bottle of expressed breast milk.
The first time I had a clogged duct and I've heard that's common but tonight was for no reason and he had nursed for about 10 mins before unlatching and freaking out.
I'm just so frustrated for a few reasons: I've already pumped 4 times by this point and the last thing I want to do is pump again, I hate that I'm cutting into the next day's supply of bottles and I'm only borderline meeting the demands of my kiddo in terms of output and then I get worked up about potentially supplementing. And I just miss the snuggles from my boy.
My husband doesn't understand why I end up in tears each time so I had to come here and vent. Any words of wisdom or support? Anything is appreciated!
