D/C or not?

I M/C on 12/27/14. I'm still having cramping about every 5 hours or so and bleeding. Is it required to have a d/c?

I ended up needing a D&C a week after I miscarried. 
My doctor did a follow up ultrasound and found the remaining tissue still had a strong blood supply. 
Check with your doctor and talk trough all of your options. Do what you are comfortable with.

Depends how far gone you were. You can let it happen naturally and it does hurt and cramp for a few days/week or so anyway.

I had a D&C 4 weeks after my mc I was 9 weeks.i had stopped bleeding but my body wasn't passing the tissue naturally. I'm glad had the D&C wish had it earlier. I had one day of cramping and bleeding for a couple days.

I was 8 weeks. And it seems like most of the tissue and all that is coming out.

If your body naturally expels all the tissue, you'll be fine without a D&C. Either way, I would schedule an apt with your doc just to make sure everything is ok. I'm so sorry for your loss. ?
