6 Month Long Period

I've been on my period for 6 months because of the Nexplanon implant, it's starting to interfere with sex and getting way too expensive. It's just a hassle. Is there anything my doctor could give me to stop the bleeding? Im going to see her tomorrow but I feel so dumb complaining about it.
