No... Your bf should not be 'controling' anything about you. I mean, an adult couple should be able to discuss whether or not they want kids and when and how to achieve that goal (whether it be to get pregnant or not to). But no one should be controlling anyone.

My fiance doesn't control my birth control but we do frequently talk about it. We are also using condoms during intercourse. He also will send me texts daily when I'm supposed to take my pill, but that's as controlling as your bf should get in my opinion.

If your in a serious relationship he can have an opinion but not control .

I don't think control. But common sense says if you don't trust someone to be on birth control you better use condoms too.
