is this a period?

I have the paraguard IUD and when I got it I was under the impression it would make my cramps a lot worse and my periods a lot heavier and I've talked to a lot of women who hate me because my experience has been the exact opposite but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced less cramping and lighter periods since they got the paraguard copper iud? I mean I've still stayed regular. About every 29 days. My periods have always been super light and lasted about 2 or 3 days but my periods have been a lot lighter. Like border line just spotting and my period is due in two days and I'm sporting and is this my period? I know I'm 23 and I've had a period since I was 11 and I should know a period. But I have no cramping and before my iud I've never not cramped before my period or when I start my period. So what's happening?
