I had my baby boy on October 25 at 5:14 pm. I was four days overdue. I only pushed for an hour and fifteen minutes. I went into labor and delivery at 2:30 in the morning. I was only dilated to a one when I got there they came back an hour later and I was at a three so they admitted me . They broke my water once I got into the labor and delivery room around 7:30 am .They were having trouble monitoring his heartbeat since I was moving so much because the contractions were so strong but still some what bearable so they put a vaginal heart monitor on baby boys head but they had trouble doing that so it put me in more pain once they finally got it in my contractions got basically unbearable so I asked for an epidural they also had trouble getting that in as well since I couldn't stop shaking and contracting but once it started working it was heaven on earth. I got the epidural around 1:45 and it started working immediately! I was able to get some rest and relax they checked me and I was at a 6 . They came back two hours later and checked again since I was having some pressure and the epidural was sorta wearing of on my left side and I was fully dilated. I started pushing 10 minutes after that . I had to get 6 stitches. I'm so in love 😍
