labour story
Ok so on the morning of October 3rd I was ment to be induced but got a phone call saying tongonin on the 4th as they were to busy to start the induction on the 3rd ...
on the 4th u went in started getting monitored and was in hospital for around 5 hrs when they got 5 people all in labour rush in so they decided to postpone me till the 5th
7 am in October 5th me and my partner made our way to the hospital and hoping this time we would leave with our little girl in our arms...
They put me on monitors again monitored for about an hour when they decided to do the first lot of gel ... me and my partner ended up falling asleep for a few hrs at 12:30 we woke up and the midwife checked how far dialated and stuff I was and I was at around 5cm by this stage but not in any pain at all at 3pm they decided to break the waters and instantly contractions started and they started of painful and around 4mins apart and that went on for a few hrs at around 6pm I got An epidural because I couldn't handle it anymore ... and then had to have a booster of it at around 7 pm I was already at 9 cm and couldn't feel a thing so we had to wait till I could feel some sort of pressure or pain ... I ended up starting to push at about 830/9 ish pm and by this time my partner and I were starting as we hadn't ate all day ... I was nice and packed a ton of chocolates for him to eat so I let him start snacking on the chocolates as i continued to push and the midwife told my partner to stop eating at to cheer me on basically haha but I was like no let him eat so he watched our daughter come out as he was stuffing his face with food :) 🙂for sure a memory that will stick with us ....
At 9:40pm on October 5th our beautiful baby girl was born weighing 2.8kgs and 51cm long
Honestly the hole pregnancy and labour with my first child Lilith Rose was such a breeze and for sure has made me think about having another child in a few years time I just wanna enjoy my time with Lilith for now and watch her grow up a little bit first
