Is each pregnancy different as far as detecting hcg? I found out early with my first pregnancy but not with the last one. I'm just wondering if it's normal.

I never had a blood test so I wouldn't know my numbers but I did get a positive pregnancy test at home at 10 dpo and it ended up being twins

Yes, implantation happens anytime between 6-12 DPO and then the rate at which the HCG rises after that point varies as well. So you could find out about different pregnancies at very different times.
