Do people usually gift your OB after successful delivery?

My OB has been extremely good. My hubby and i conceived successfully after much trying and we can give a lot of credit to my OB. Do people usually gift your OB after successful delivery or just just say thank you from the bottom of your heart ?

With my two pregnancies, I bought the DOC a thank you card and put a picture of my baby in there. I am doing it with this pregnancy as well.

I love my doctor so much, but I know she has lots more money than I do and could thus buy herself whatever she wants, so I don't buy her a gift. I just write her a note about how much she means to our family, and she really appreciates it (it's my third baby with the same doctor).
