My husband and I are super excited about our pregnancy. We have been trying for a year and a half, and have had one miscarriage. We will be at the point of wanting to announce somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we thought it'd be a good time to tell his family on Thanksgiving. Most of them live about 4 hours north of us and we are going to be up there this year. 
My dillema is, that his cousin is getting married that Saturday, and I don't want to steal her thunder. But in another light, I feel like she picked a bad time for a wedding, lol. Who gets married Thanksgiving weekend?! Doesn't matter. What matters is, do you think she will be pissed at us? Would you be pissed? Personally, I would have been s little pissed if someone announced a day or 2 before my wedding, but my wedding wasn't after a major frickn holiday lol.
By the way, if it matters, this is her second marriage, she has a 3 year old son, and not really sure if they're TTC or not. She's about the same age as me.

How is your relationship with her? For me I would look at that, if you have a good relationship then she will probably be happy and understanding. If she doesn't like you or is jealous or so then she might turn it into a huge thing. If you do announce then I would also do my best to keep focus on the wedding. You might think she picked a bad/weird weekend to have a wedding but you'll need to keep in mind (if you do announce) that you will be deciding to announce on their wedding weekend, which is their time first.

"Who gets married near a major fricking holiday"......... TONS OF PEOPLE DO. I wouldn't announce my pregnancy nor get married on or near a major holiday. It's kinda selfish to turn a family day into a day about yourself. I would personally wait till in between. Maybe a week or two after thanks giving.

I would say wait for x mas, so it's more special for you. You can announce a little sooner than xmas that way the baby gets gifts

It's a second wedding. That automatically degrades its level of importance imo. How can any thunder actually be stolen from a second wedding?  It's thanksgiving,  a family occasion, and surely other family members will have news or things to brag about that aren't wedding related. Why not announce after the wedding if you're truly wanting to be sensitive to her feelings?

First, I got married thanksgiving week because I had the time off from work not to take attention away from the family holiday. It was a courthouse wedding anyway and we still had a normal thanksgiving on that day. Anniversaries can suck though without much time to ourselves, especially when it falls on the day of Thanksgiving like it does this year.
Second, I'd say wait if either is the jealous type because that's just asking for trouble. If not, maybe ask them first? Or say when you announce that you don't want to take away from their special day you just are adding another thing to celebrate. It's your call in the end, I'd maybe play it by ear when the time comes.

I would go for it. When you announce the pregnancy, the night will be about you, and then she gets her day a few days later. Her wedding day will still be about her. Besides, if your family's anything like mine, it'll be hard to hide it while avoiding the wine!
