C section or vaginal delivery?

What are people's opinions on method of delivery for twins? I'm 24 weeks with twins and I also have gestational diabetes. I can't decide which option would be best!

What delivery are you going for and why?

I have no preference either way. I'm doing whatever my baby boys decide. I was told by my doc very early on not to get attached to either birth plan because anything can happen, especially twins.

I delivered vaginally, I also had GD I don't really know that it was a factor. The only things that my dr told me would mean a scheduled c-section was if baby A was transverse (sideways), and an emergency section would have been for fetal distress or Baby B turning transverse during delivery. Not all drs are really pro-vaginal for multiples, though. Has your dr said anything to you about how they foresee it going?

I think when there's a high risk it's whatever gets both of you out alive at the other end. 
In my country c-section are for emergencies only.

Don't want to have a c section because i will be on my own after a few days. My husbands work doesn't give him leave for this. I have children that already need me. So add twins and there is no way I can be down. Unfortunately my support system isn't all thay reliable either. But today my doc told me that i was scheduled for a c section on monday. I'm not very happy about this either.  My twin A is head down and twin B is transverse (he rests his head on her butt) but he can move down. He just don't stay there long. But Im not a hippie girl so i can only imagine that there isnt much room for both their heads to be down there.

I don't have a preference as long as they are healthy.  I did end up scheduling a C-section at my last appointment because the one thing I did not want is to have to deliver one each way.  For most of my pregnancy baby A has been head down and baby B has been breech. This increases the risk of needing a C-section to get baby B out.  Also the risk in increased if there is any sign of exhaustion or distress in you or the baby.  I felt better just eliminating the risk of having to do one each way.

O went for vaginal birth. Twin a was head down and twin b was breech. I had an amazing doctor that was willing to work with me and give me a chance at delivering him breech.

One of my boys was breach and the other head down so my doctor gave me three options. 1. I could deliver vaginally and they would attempt to turn the breach baby which they had a 50% success rate of doing 2. If they were unable to turn the breach baby after the first was delivered vaginally, the second would have to be delivered by c section 3. Deliver by c section. I decided on delivering by c section because I didn't want to risk something unexpected happening, and I didn't want to chance the babies being delivered in different ways. Basically I was avoiding option 2.

I have to have a C-section because my first son was a C-section and they didn't want to chance it by giving me a vbac with twins. But if you have a choice personally I would choose a C-section if they're not both head down simply because I've heard people having to have both a vaginal delivery and a C-section and I feel like that would be absolutely horrible.

I was able to deliver my twins vaginally since they were both head down.  I had complications during pregnancy (short cervix then the amniotic sac separating from the uterine wall) that cause me to go out on bed rest at 26 weeks. I was induced at 36 weeks since one twin was measuring a lot smaller than the other.  I also had GD but that was not a factor in the delivery. My delivery was smooth thankfully!  The thought of a csection scared me. It's considered major surgery and I did not want to be healing from that when having to take care of 2 babies.

I would love to have a vaginal birth!!! 
I have two singletons and they were both vaginal. They were great experiences, fast recovery, and to be honest I would feel like i missed out if i had a c-section. 
Vaginal is all I klnow and i am a little freaked to be cut open. Not to mention I searched c-section videos and that was a bad idea lol
