Cesarean moms, share your stories. Especially if you had a vaginal delivery and then a cesarean.

Emma • I thank God for the opportunity to live my dream. A wife to an amazing man and mom of 4 beautiful children.
I've had 3 vaginal births and I'm trying to decide on a cesarean this time. I'm so scared of it but we had complications during my last birth and almost lost my daughter. I don't know if I can go through labor again emotionally or physically and I have the option of an elective cesarean. I'm terrified of both. Don't know what to do and my doctors have told me it's up to me. They support me in whichever we decide. I'm 38 weeks and need to decide and be 100% with my decision.

My first and only was a CS because she was breech. I was so scared.. but it was great. I got a spinal tap and kinda freaked out after because literally your everything was numb and I just panicked not being able to feel my legs lol All I thought was.. "I wish I didn't watch all those Saw movies" 😳😂 I was in there for about 45 mins with prep time - they started cutting before hubby got in there (didn't even know) they were so good at keeping me calm and my mind off not being able to move. I did get sick on the table a little which they said is common - they were so nice about it. Finally my babe arrived and everything after was a blur.. went back to our room they massage your uterus down to size for about an hour every 10 mins (just some pressure) and monitor you and baby but your just so exhausted from the relaxation of your tap and the excitement of everything. My recovery was great, I walked probably 6-8 hours later? I had her at night 8:18 so we went to bed after. All I can say is make sure to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated, make yourself get out of bed and walk even if it's short increments and stay on top of your pain meds 👌🏻 I hope to have a VBAC with our November baby but my CS was so great.. I don't even care 😊

Most hospitals have a CS band to go around your waist and incision. You'd think you wouldn't want anything touching it but it keeps everything "in" and walking around you'll be sore.. this helped me. It's a large stretchy band that velcros in the front. Mine gave me one for free!

I've had two csections. My pelvis is too small so i never got to have natural. Always wished I could have though. So yeah I'd just go natural until a problem came up..

My first had a 14.5 inch scull and I ended up with a c section after 29 hours of labor. This go round we ware just planning to have a c section as his head is already measuring in the 90% at 36 weeks and 3 days. I'm now almost at 38 weeks scheduled for 11/5 to meet Mr. Man
