Need your advice on if this timeline for a fertility specialist is normal

I need some advice... I've been going to a specialist since May (after 2 years of infertility) and I feel like they're dragging their feet. For my first appointment I asked if I could get blood work done prior so we could discuss it. They said no. Of course, they ordered blood work after the appt and told me to come back in a month. Next month they ordered an ultrasound, the next an hsg and more blood work. So far everything has come back normal so the dr wants to do surgery. I asked if I could do Clomid, trigger shots, or at least something to start the process. She said no. Not until after two surgeries. I'm fed up since I've been going to this specialist for almost 7 months and haven't stated a damn thing. Was this the same for any of you? I'm getting tired of these wasteful visits and just want to get the ball rolling on treatments! Is it time for me to change specialists?
