So this
pregnancy has been confusing for both myself and my midwife. I have a badly tilted uterus and it made it so we couldn't see the baby until 8weeks one day. I am 10 weeks and 2 days now. We finally found out how far along I am at 8 weeks 1 day. During the abdominal ultrasound there was a fluid sac at the top right side of my uterus and inside we saw movement right up against the right side of my uterus laying vertically, but couldn't get a real pinpoint on it. So the tech decided to do an internal ultrasound. And when we did that she found a baby laying horizontally. Found a heart beat and everything. So I set up an appointment with my midwife and she started going over the ultrasound report and it said there were two amniotic sacs but they could only see one baby. My midwife figures that there could still be two babies in there, but with the weird tilt in my uterus we can't pinpoint the second one. So we are waiting until I am 14 maybe 15 weeks to do another ultrasound. Has this happened to anyone else. I am okay if there isn't two babies in there. I know there is one healthy lively baby and that's all that matters. A second would just be a blessing. Anyone else have a hidden twin because of a tilted uterus?
