Transitioning Back to Breast

Has anyone tried transitioning from bottle back to breast and had success? I breastfed my baby for the first month and (hormonal) me gave up because he never latched very well. I've been exclusively pumping ever since but feel like I'm missing out on something very special. In a breastfeeding group today, someone suggested trying to see if he'd latch now (mind you, he's almost 5 months old). I'd love to hear your experiences!
