IVF with or without PGS?

I had my IVF consultation today and my doctor suggested much higher success rate with PGS however it's 6 grand extra anyone out there do Ivf with or without and what was your outcome?

We did IVF without it and it worked perfectly ! I don't recommend it. It's a lot of money

We did IVF with PGS testing and on our first try we got pregnant! It's worth the money

We didn't do it bc it wasn't necessary.. took two full rounds of ivf and a frozen transfer.. we are preggo with twins.. I do know people who have had it done and still don't end up pregnant the first time.. everyone's outcomes are different and obviously it's your ultimate choice but I wouldn't pay the extra if it wasn't necessary... I didn't know every cycle your percentage increases drastically too! I wish you guys the best of luck to having your sweet babe/ babes!! ;)

We didn't do pgs testing but it was really recommended due my age I was 26 when my eggs were retrieved I had a successful first fresh transfer and now pregnant from my first fet. I would find out more about why they want you to have it and weigh the options. Good luck!

We didn't do it, didn't feel it was completely necessary with our ages. But our first transfer ended in a miscarriage and I'm now pregnant after our 2nd transfer. It's definitely a personal choice to make.
