96th percentile?
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday & I probably should have asked her this, but maybe y'all can help me out! I am 24w2d pregnant with my baby boy, Gunner Wayne. Yesterday, my doctor measured my uterus & stated that I am actually larger than I should be. She also brought up the results from my last ultrasound (when I was 19w5d). She said that according to the ultrasound, Gunner is significantly "larger" than he should be. While an "average" sized baby is in the 50th percentile, he is in the 96th percentile. She didn't question my eating habits or anything of that nature. She stated that he is a very healthy baby boy. And that makes me very happy! My question is this: Have any of you had babies in the upper percentile? If so, did it affect anything later in your pregnancy? Is it possible that they are going to bump my due date up?
