Can you see the baby flicker at 5-6 weeks pregnant?

I went last week for my first ultrasound, thinking I was nearly 9 weeks pregnant but found out I was only 5-6 weeks.    When they done a transvaginal ultrasound there was no flicker on the screen.  Should I be worried or is it possible you can't see the baby flicker that early?

I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks but was warned that there was a chance we wouldn't see it.

No hun, it's too early. Not till about 8 or 9 weeks. Hang in there though

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. My bean at 6 weeks was very noticeable, but I've heard of people not being able to see baby on an US until 8 weeks or so

My OB said they usually see a heartbeat at 6w2d. Did your OB give you a gestational age? I don't think they usually ball park it like that and just say 5-6 weeks. They've always given me an exact age like 6w3d, even if it changed a little the next time.
