If I start to dilate before my c section date..?

If I start to dilate before my scheduled c section date, will they go ahead and do the c section or wait and continue to let things progress? Thanks!!

Dilation is no indication of when you would go into labor, so it shouldn't effect your plans for your sceheduled c-section. Some people can be dilated to a 4 at 36wks and still not go into labor on their own and need to be induced. You just never know.

Depends on if the cesection was scheduled for a medical reason or if you chose to have one.  If it was optional they will let it progress unless you aren't full term. If not they will watch you and make sure you aren't progressing most likely they will stop labor if they can and if they don't catch it they will do an emergency one
