Getting Off Birth Control

Hey guys! For about 5 years I was on a form of birth control. It started with Depo, then after about 2 years I switched to the pill. I stoped taking the pill about 5-6 months ago. My periods have varied month to month in heaviness, length, and start date. I should be getting my next one any time now... I was wondering how long it takes until your periods are like clockwork again. Will they ever be like clockwork?
