Water breaking?

My stomach felt like it was gonna pop and I went to the bathroom and my under wear was soaked! I put toilet paper for a substitute for a pad and they r damp.. I'm having cramping. Is it my water? My first child my water never did break.

I had a scare this morning, my underwear was soaked and I started to cramp. 
I spent an hour at L&D only to be told that it was not amniotic fluid and even though I was having contractions 6 mins apart (and we are talking massive contractions) that I was in fact not in labor.

If you believe your water has broken, you need to call your doctor. They take it seriously and will most likely request you come in.

It might be ! My doctor was explaining to me that when your water breaks it feels like its gushing out of you but also you pee yourself to since there is so much pressure on your bladder but I'd call the doctor and ask them or just go straight to the hospital
