Unfamiliar. Unbelievable.

I delivered my first child naturally at our local birth center after 51 hours of labor. With my amazing birth team standing by should I need them, I brought my baby into the world by pushing without coaching and catching her myself. I never knew my body could do such an amazing thing as creating and birthing her, and now I have to wonder how I could have spent so many years hating my body when it's

so magical. I am so grateful for the opportunity to deliver her the way I did. Life is a blessing.
