Mother's Day Contest
This is my beautiful mother and I with my grandmother, at my high school graduation, when I was a little girl, and at my senior prom. 
Mother's Day to me is just a good reminder to cherish our mothers, &our children &be appreciative of the life we have been given &the mother &children that were chosen by God to be ours. I don't think one day for mothers is comparable to a lifetime of commitment.
Like every other woman, my mother has faced many trials &tribulations in life. But the one thing to me that makes her different and separates her from the rest is her unwavering positive energy. No matter what happens in life she remains positive. She knows that like attracts like and negative energy only brings more negative. She taught me to think like this, & even though I was never close to my dad I grew up with self respect and a positive attitude about everything. Every day I enjoy life because of her. My mother is my best friend. I never went through that teenager I hate my mom phase, no. She was always my best friend and always the only person I confided in with everything, &she still is.
