Measurements off?? Belly or ultrasound wrong?

Well did an ultrasound and baby was measuring 6lbs 4oz and that was at 35+2  but when I went to the doctor they said my belly is measuring small at 35+6!! Has this ever happened to anyone and what was the outcome?

There's no way to accurately predict a babies weight inside the womb. They can make guesses, but they are just guesses. Your uterus should be the same amount of cm from top to bottom as you are weeks along. So, I'm 32 weeks and my belly measures 32cm. It should be relatively close to that.

When they measure your belly they are just measuring the size of your uterus. So that doesn't mean much. And third tri ultrasounds are known to up to 2lbs off in either direction.
