should I test?

I had sex two days after my period. I had spotting 6 days later. The spotting lasted 3 days (because it was 3 days, I wonder if it was another period- I'm on BC, but I've been irregular on the pill before). Based off of my last period, I'm 3 days late. Should I test now or wait another week or so in case the spotting was a period? Please comment.
