help?? I think I might not be ovulating :(

Hey there! I'm kinda freaking out so I was hoping you guys might have some insight. Last month I took a series of ovulation tests and they continuously didn't show an LH surge. I assumed I read them wrong. So I went out and got the clear blue fertility monitor with a touch screen. It had great reviews and seemed easier to read. So after my very short period (I'm pretty regular with about 4 day periods, this one was only 2days) I started ovulation testing with the fertility kit as recommended. It's not been 18 days of testing, 11 days of 'high' which is an estrogen rise, and no LH surge. Could there be another reason for this besides me not ovulating? I'm planning on making an appointment with a fertility specialist. But I was hoping you guys might have some insight. Or maybe someone else has gone through this?
