What to do for New year's with husband and kids?

I have absolutely no idea what to do for new years.  I normally go to church, but we wanna try something different.. Any ideas?

Do any towns nearby do fireworks on new year's eve? Or other 'first night' activities? If they do, theres usually kid-friendly activities earlier, so they don't have to be up past bedtime (not sure their ages).

My parents used to make a fancy dinner for us every year. Crab and steaks and lots of fancy appetizers. They would have champagne and we would get sparkling cider in champagne flutes.

After dinner we'd play Yahtzee and other fun easy for kids to play type games. At the countdown we'd go outside with sparklers and pots and pans.

Honestly my favorite holiday as a kid!

I'll most likely be sleeping, lol!!! My husband works late and possibly working a double and my little one will be asleep...

We are staying in and having a couple from church come over. We have kids so we are going to play bingo. We bought little gifts you can win.
