Household help?

How much help do your older kids & spouse give you with household tasks? I'm just worn out!

I have a three and a four year old and am a stay home mom 34 weeks pregnant and have been on bed rest since I was 19.5 weeks. My kids clear their own dinner dishes and help load and unload the dishwasher, they vacuum, put their dirty clothes in the washer, clean their rooms and make their beds. My hubby works 60+ hours a week so doesn't help much around the house but he does the grocery shopping and other errands that I am unable to do, picks up after himself and helps with dinner. He switches clothes to dryer for me and dumps it on the bed I then fold or hang and he puts away.

It's just me and my husband since my fur-babies are no help. I do a lot of surface cleaning and vacuuming and he does anything that deals with harsh chemicals like the bathrooms. He also does the dishes and the laundry. And if I ever need help with anything he's there to help - like mopping and bathing the animals. I like to keep up with the cleaning myself just because it keeps me moving but I admit it has been getting a bit tougher as the weeks go on by 😛

My hubby helps with everything when hes not working. I usually dont do anything when hes on his off days.

My oldest helps  out a great deal.. the other 4 do pick up and help with laundry/ dishes.. my husband does nothing... and by nothing i mean nothing.  He leaves his clothes where he takes them off... dishes all over... I do the house work the yard work..  everything except the  things i ask the children to do..  and he wonders why i sometimes just cry about the housework... his excuse is our house is cleaner than anyone else we know.. well it wouldnt be that way if I didnt spend my entire day cleaning and working around here... im 33 weeks and feell like laying down once in a while.. but it is what it is... I have spoiled him in that way... since we were kids.. have known each other since we were little... he would call me in high school bc he was hungry  or his mom asked  him to do something... he lived across  the street..

I have a 6yr old and a 2 1/2yr old. My oldest takes trash out, gathers dirty laundry, switches clothes from wash to dryer, and picks up after our toddler whenever I ask. She's a big help! I am a stay at home mom so I do most everything. My SO does help when I ask. After baby comes I will have my MIL come and stay to help with older kids for a few weeks. It's my last one and I'd like to enjoy the experience more than just running myself ragged.

My husband helps with nothing and this is my first child. We have someone who comes and cleans the house every 2 weeks for about 2.5 hours. Only costs me $15/hour so totally worth it in my eyes. I still have to do all the daily stuff like dishes, laundry, etc

I am a Stay at home mommy. I don't ask for help unless I know I need too. I'm too stubborn. I am on minimal bed rest & I can clean the kitchen up & cook before & after dinner & im worn out for the night!! It's very exhausting. I don't ask for help because I feel I shouldn't have too. They all know I'm pregnant. Cut me some slack people. But then I remember I'm a mommy too & I do it all! Plus I'm a wife!

It's a team effort. Now that I'm getting a lot more uncomfortable, husband is doing more. My kids are (almost)9 and 6, so they pick up after themselves (well...usually), mop, take care of their own dishes, and make their beds. My oldest will do pretty much anything I need if she's able to. If I'm having a rough day, she will get their after school snacks set up and she will wipe counters, vacuum. Yesterday I had them cleaning a bathroom (but only because they had made a huge mess in thete creating "science experiments").

I work night shifts 6 nights in a row. So basically I have time to sleep and work. My hubby does everything: gets kids ready, takes them to school, picks them up, and makes or has dinner ready when I wake up before work. He's the best!!! He takes out the garbage. We both do laundry (itnever ends!). On my days off I do more obviously, but he does do a lot. It's a team effort. My daughter is 14, she helps do chores, picking up, vacuum/swiffer, load and unload dishes, babysit the 4yo if needed. 4yo picks up his toys. Sometimes. Lol
