LDR Advice

So I am 16 and my boyfriend is 17 and we have been dating for 6 months now. We have known each other for three years, but never met in person. My friends know about him but they think we're just friends, I'd like to tell them but I feel like they'd be weird about it. Any advice? My boyfriend and I are extremely open and have very good communication and he isn't bothered by me not wanting to tell them, but I just want to get it over with. Thank you!
