What is this

My husband was burping my 6 week old a few minutes ago and I noticed this on the back of his head....please explain what it is. It looks like a rash or a breakout but I have no idea

It looks like a stork bite which is very common and they usually fade away.

It's a strawberry patch (: Just a birth mark, my daughter has one in the exact same spot!

My daughter has that in the same spot, a tiny one in the corner of her left eye, and a really big one on the back of her head. They're all flat now but at birth the biggest one was raised. We didn't even notice it until the day after she was born then I found this pic where it's really obvious but still nobody noticed it. Her dr thought it was bruising from being in the birth canal for a while but at 4mos old it's still there.

4ish weeks old. Pretty much how it looks now. Some days it's really dark, some days it's barely noticeable

My son had the same and I pointed it out to the doctor at his one month visit and I was told it was baby acne and it's all gone now
