growth spurts

How long can growth spurts last? I'm a FTM and we are exclusively breastfeeding... he's 10 days old and the last 3 nights have been craziness... he eats every hour, sometimes shorter than that. I feel like it's pointless to put him down when he's eating like this all night but I'm getting no sleep 😭 any advice? I'm afraid to cosleep/bedshare because I've heard that can be hard to break... by the time I get him in his bassinet he's our for like 10 minutes and then wakes up acting like he's starving. Help!
