Need to have a selfish vent 😑

My MIL threw me a shower a few weeks ago and my mom had one for me last weekend. I couldn't be happier to see everyone but I put over 500$ into the showers if not more.

For my MIL we had to drive over 8 hours to get there and take off days from work. For my moms I pretty much paied for everything expect the meat. I literally only got clothing. Everyone asked me where I was registered at but every.single.person. got me clothing. The family and friends at my moms shower harassed me about having a baby before we get married (even though we had a date set I just chose to move it back) they told me how I'm not going to be able to properly raise my baby because of my job. But yet we make double their income. I cried twice during the whole thing. My mom kept saying sorry for Me having to help so much but I literally done almost all of it. I'm so upset from the amount of money I put into it all and the outcome of it.
