I breastfed both of my children for 17 months. I never thought I'd breastfeed longer than a year, totally thought people who did were weirdos. Then when my daughter got to be a year, she was still nursing 3 times a day and it was just was just so easy for us that we kept going until she weaned herself at 17 months. The last few months it was just 1 or 2 feedings a day. I'm actually really glad I nursed for that long and it was such a great experience with both of my kids.

Somewhere around 19/19.5 months. I got pregnant when she was 18 months and my nipples got so sensitive I just couldn't do it anymore, but it took a little while to finish weaning.

My first I breastfed for a year but his Dr told me it's only beneficial for six months so with my daughter I'm only going to breastfeed for six months
