Okay so I had my son on Sept 2nd I was able to get him to feed twice the first day, several hours later he still hadn't eaten and wouldn't even take a bottle so the nurse said they had to flush his stomach because there was a lot of mucus and that's why he wasnt wanting to eat anymore. So the next day I tried breastfeeding and I couldn't get him to latch on it was very stressful for the both of us and he was really fussy so I gave in to trying the bottle so at least I knew he was eating something. I felt like a failure as a mother because we couldn't figure it out. I've been reading about rebuilding your milk supply and latching the baby on but is it really possible? Will my milk actually come back? He seems interested but of course my milk has dried up so he gets nothing. I'm feeding him formula right now but really want to try breastfeeding again. Has anyone been through this or currently trying to start back? He will be 2 months old on the second
