Did anybody get a yeast infection at 37 weeks ?? & is it safe to use the treatement that you have to insert in to the vagina ??

Yes it's safe, I have just been prescribed one at 36 weeks! So you should be fine but if your worried ring your midwife!

I had one last week and my doctor prescribed something comparable to Diflucan. One pill and I'm all better!

Ask your doctor. Mine told me if it's a yeast infection, since I'm already dilated, to not use the one you have to insert and to just use the cream

Yes it's safe, I was diagnosed at 35 weeks and was told to do the 3day or 7 day monostat. The first day the treatment was really uncomfortable but the second day onward it was fine and now I'm 5 days post treatment and feel back to normal.

If you don't want to use the creams try a high quality probiotic. They are usually in a little refrigerator in the vitamin section because they're actually suppose to be kept cold. Try a vitamin shop, gnc, or local grocery store (not Walmart). I get yeast infections easily and have been taking probiotics my whole pregnancy. It's kept them away.
