3rd round of Clomid
Hey everyone , I'm new to posting but not new to glow 😊 anyways long story short my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years , well in April 2016 I was having a period every other week (worst thing ever!!!). I was able to get into my doctor in may and have an exam and was told just wait it out and after exam I didn't get my period for the normal 25-27 day cycle I went back in June 2016 for follow up and we discussed fertility, DH had a semen analysis ( after stressfully waiting for results ) everything was normal and way over the top lol thankfully. my doctor sent me for an ultrasound to check everything and after reviewing results she wanted me to have a same day surgical procedure done . After thinking and talking with my husband , I then had exploratory laparoscopic procedure to check my anatomy and to be sure everything was working properly , I had a major breakdown thinking I was coming out of surgery without my tubes or one tube blocked just the worst thing possible I was thinking it ! Well it turns out everything worked perfect ! Which I couldn't be more thrilled but then made me wonder ok why have I not been able to conceive ?! Discussed treatment with my doctor she said that Clomid would be a good option so August 2016 first round of Clomid 50 mg 5-9 , progesterone level showed 1.5 sadly I didn't ovulate .. second round September 2016 Increased to Clomid 100mg 5-9 progesterone level was 19.4 I was so excited but sadly AF showed her ugly face , October 12-16 2016 3rd round of Clomid 100mg 5-9 , I had blood work done this passed Friday and I got on my online portal for the hospital to see my progesterone is 28.6 this cycle!!! I'm thrilled but not getting my hopes up like the other cycles ..We are praying and hoping this is our cycle .. third times a charm right ?
