sex and labor? TMI

Question

Moms who have babies already. Did you start having sex when you were full term and did it put you in labor? I heard sperm can soften your cervix and having an orgasm can bring on contractions. What are your stories? How often did you have sex to make this happen? When did you go into labor? I'm asking because I'm 35 weeks and plan on starting a few things when I'm full term!

Walking and sex helped me with my second daughter. I had sex up until the night before I went into labor.

With my son I was 39 weeks and 1 day and I was DONE being pregnant. For about 2 weeks I wanted nothing to do with having sex but I decided to give it a shot. Afterward I was cramping and really thought I was going to go into labor that night. That was Saturday, I lost the rest of my plug on Sunday, had sex again on Monday, labor started late Tuesday night and I had him Wednesday night. Don't know if it was actually sex that made it happen but it could have been! And all the walking I did haha

I didn't have sex. I couldn't imagine anything fitting up there. Ha. But lunges and squats worked for me at 38+6
