Should you still continue ttc when only one person is working and paying all bills?

I have recently lost my job through no fault of my own and now they are only giving me 7/8 hours per week. My partner is the only one who's really bringing in the money and is paying the bills by himself. I had a conversation with him about continuing ttc and he still wants to, I'm unsure as I am under so much stress through work, he believes if we manage to conceive that I'd be happier....,just wondering what everyone else would do....?

It totally depends on whether the person working can keep the bills paid alone.

It would depend on you could afford to live off of one income.  You at least need to make a budget and see if you not working is comfortably doable. If it is go for it! If not, find another job and start trying again once you are settled into that.

I put no, but it's really up to your situation. If you think you could manage it, then you can keep trying! But if you think you couldn't afford it or you are too stressed out, then it wouldn't hurt to wait a bit until things have settled down a bit! Best of luck!

I personally would not. For me financial security is a big thing. But it all depends on how much stress it would put on the one person to be able to make ends meet. There will be more expenses with the baby and with insurance and things like that. It really all depends on your expenses versus bills.
