Hey guys I am 34 weeks pregnant and for the past two days I have been having Braxton hicks and I know that they are Braxton hicks bc they are irregular. But they were painful. Well last night I had 2 very sharp pains lower in my abdomen about where the baby's head is ( she's head down and low) well I had to go pee and noticed some bright red blood, I was concerned but not too concerned because me and the hub had sex the day b4. So I went on to bed after a warm shower. I slept most of the night and when I woke the this morning I had super bright red blood and I had blood clots as well. So I was worried I woke up hub and told him we probably need to go to the er. It was about 5:30am. Any who we went to the er they monitored me for a few hours and I was still just having the irregular Braxton hicks. But they did an exam for the blood and took swabs and stuff and told me that my cervix was irritated and could possibly have an infection. I was also 1 1/2 cm dialated, well they have sent me home and told me that if I started to bleed more to come back in or if I start to have contractions. My question is has any one had any similar situation and went on to delivering full term or did you have your baby early or what should I exspect, I am no dr. And I have had 3 previous pregnancys all 39 weeks or more I was induced with each one of them. And I had my first 7 years ago then the last 2 very close together 24 moths old, 11 months old and 34 weeks pregnant. My husband thinks my body is just tired, Bc we had the last 3 back to back basically just looking for reassurance I guess.
