Everyone is different.  It's  your body, your  baby and your birth. You should decide. When #1 was born my mom and stepdad, my baby sister(she was 17), my SO, his mom and stepdad, and my cousin  (shes a nurse) where all there. His stepdad left the room for the actual birth. When #2 was born i had a huge medical crowd because the lil gymnast wrapped himself in the cord but i had my baby sister, cousin (diff cousin like a sister) her mom, my other aunt, and my SO. The next baby could be totally different, who knows!

With my first child I had my my sister, my ex, his mom, and his sister...but whoever you feel comfortable with being there!

With my first I only wanted my mom and my grandma in there and my mil decided to come in as well. -.- my hubs was overseas so he wasn't there.

My DH, mom,  sister,  and best friend were in the room. I'll cherish that day forever.

My so and my mother. My dad stood behind the curtain and kept saying hang in the baby girl!!!! You can do it. I love you!!! And when I was cleaned  up and covered he would come see the baby. Lol

When I was having my daughter it was just suppose to be my husband but in the moment I wanted my mom and sister there also

I had my husband, my sister and my mom with my first, and my mom, husband, his mom and his grandma with my second. With my 3rd I'll probably have my stepdaughter (she'll be almost 16) my hubby and my mother in law
