Crouch pain???

Question

Anyone else having crouch pain? Like near your pubic bone area? I'm 2 days shy of 27 weeks. Walking is uncomfortable and I lift my legs I feel a pain depending on how I move.  It's like a sore feeling majority of the time. 
I just want to see if this normal before running to the hospital if it normal.

Yes had it for a while. It's due to the relaxant hormone designed to loosen your limbs in preparation for labor. Sometimes it starts early for some women. I had pain even turning over in bed, getting out of the car etc and walking got painful.

My midwife showed me a resistance exercise a partner can help you with. You lay on your back with your knees bent. Your SO crosses their arms with the palms of their hands (horizontally) touching each knee from the inside of your legs. You then gently push against their hands while they provide the resistance. You will feel the pubic bone closing up to its original position. Hold it for a few seconds then repeat.

As well as that you could tie a band or scarf around your hips to bind them gently. Takes the pressure off them a little.

Always sit down to put shoes, pants etc on. Keep knees together when possible; for instance when getting out of the car, bed etc. When turning over in bed, try to keep body aligned and simply roll. I sleep with a pillow between my knees.

Yes I get that from time to time so painful and not fun can only lay down and wait it out once it starts

It is round ligament pain and it is basically your ligaments down there stretching to make it easier for delivery. Be prepared, it lasts until you give birth, and become worse after a while !
