nhs recurrent miscarriage appointment

Jenna
So I went to my appointment a few weeks ago. Have to say I was ready to walk out at one point. The guy didn't have my notes (and all 3 miscarriages were treated at that hospital). He didn't ask anything about them. Said because we have a daughter everything is fine and just to keep trying. Once I get pregnant they'll treat me with aspirin, progesterone and folic acid.
So we went for blood tests and they are doing the chromosome tests too. He said I'd getcontacted about another appointment once the results are back.
So I called yesterday as I haven't heard anything and it's been 3 weeks. The receptionist says the results are back but they can't give them over the phone. So I ask when I'll hear about them or how I'll hear. She said I have an appointment booked for ....April!? She said she'll get the doctor to write out and get the appointment brought forward.
Is this the usual way they deal with people? I'm not TTC at the moment anyway for a number of reasons but they don't know that at the hospital. (3 miscarriages in last year so give body a break, wanting the test results back so I don't just miscarry again and I've got a holiday to Florida booked for May and I don't want to be pregnant for it)
Part of me thinks they've just booked it for 6 months as I'd normally be pregnant by then. But surely they should contact me even if the test results are negative?
Anyone else had a good experience?
