How/When to tell your mom you're pregnant!?

I'm 4 weeks with our 1st and beyond excited. We've been together for 12 years so this baby has been a long time coming. I know my mom will be the most excited and I want to tell her in a cute war but I also just want my mom to know now so I can ask her all the things!!

I'm 5 weeks! We're announcing it to our families on Thanksgiving, but I wanted to tell my mom and grandma sooner because I just can't wait! We like to meet up for lunch and shopping sometimes, so tomorrow we're going out to eat. I'm going to give them each a gift and say, "I'm so sorry I didn't get either of you this year! I hope these are the right size..." and they'll find these onesies!

With my first baby, I told them right away. I was like before 4 weeks lol. That ended in a Mmc at 12 weeks and my mom was the one in the ultrasound room when I found it. It really helped me.

This time with my rainbow baby, I'm waiting until thanksgiving when I'm 7 /8 weeks. I just want to be further along and make sure things are well. 😊

I really wanted to wait until Christmas because I dreamed of letting everyone know with cute little Christmas gifts but my husband is too impatient so we decided on letting our parents know for thanksgiving. We're having a joint thanksgiving this year with both our families so I'm gonna wear this shirt to thanksgiving dinner 😌

We are going home to see my parents for Thanksgiving and by then I'll be 7 weeks. It's a little sooner than I'd want to tell them but I'll be at the hubby's mom's for Christmas so it has to be 7 weeks for my family and 11 for his. I bought a countdown to grandbaby thing at Hallmark like 2 years ago and I finally get to use it :) I'll enter the due date and the countdown begins. Then I wrap it as an early Christmas present. :)

I was going to tell our parents too but my husband pointed out if we wait until Christmas (12 wks) I can do one of those cutesy ways I've always talked about doing as an xmas present. So now I'm trying to wait!
