has anyone ever experienced this

I found out Friday that I have BV. Doctor prescribed me metronidazole vaginal gel which I've been using everyday since Friday. This morning I woke to use the restroom only to discover discharge with brownish pink blood in it. I called the OB and they told me it's normal with pregnancy as long as I don't feel any pain and cramps. Which I don't have neither one. I'm  so nervous because I experienced my first MC August 26,2016.
